Maxim Svistunov, formally known as Max - our Lead Software Engineer!

If you look at his LinkedIn profile, you may be overwhelmed regarding his work experience. Max - King of Tech stack. That guy is fluent in 20 programming languages.

Max started his life and his career in Ukraine, studying „Automation of control systems and information processing“at the National Technical University of Ukraine. Regarding himself, his goal is to help people building technical solutions to solve real-life problems. That matches perfect with his motto for life: „Learning and discovering new things - always going beyond!“ - He is open-minded and eager to learn!

Despite the programming languages, Max speaks Ukrainian, Russian and English and has settled in Berlin, so he can add some Berlinish to his language profile. There we are, 24 languages. Time to call the Guinness World Records.

He leads the development team of Secfix and is mainly responsible for the security monitoring app. He is also constantly looking for more engineers to join our team, overseeing IT budgeting and keeping an eye on the development lifecycle. Our agile remote team managed to present the product to our customer from scratch in just a few months. And he was a big part of it!

Speaking of the remote team, the whole team always gets excited when his cat, who actually seems to be a cheetah, shows up on camera. We love it! So when asked what he would change in the world with a snap of his fingers, he would generally make people happier in life! That works at least once a week Max! meow meeoooww...

What does he think about the importance of Information Security?

"I am glad that companies have started to share the vision that cybersecurity is an extremely important issue for any business.
The rising trend in search can be seen all over the world."

He knows how to best use modern technology to get the right results at Secfix, and he sees himself in the same position in 10 years as he is today. But he'd like to get a little more sleep. If that's even possible with his new full-time colleague Juan, because as yet Max is very happy to have him on his team. Just kidding.
