What's New at Secfix: January 2022

Looking for the latest product news at Secfix? Here's a quick list of all the integrations and features that joined our platform in January. That includes our brand new Integrations to Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Google Workspaces and Office365, our new Security Awareness Training in partnership with Amazon and the New Version of the Secfix Agent v.02 for Windows, MacOS and Linux Devices. Secfix has built read-only integrations with many of the tools you’re already using, so you can spend less time collecting evidence and more time building products. Based on customer feedback, we’ve recently added and enhanced several integrations:

Connecting to your Cloud Service Provider

Secfix connects now with two of the biggest cloud providers: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure!

Companies can now save hundreds of hours per year by connecting GCP and Azure to Secfix instead of manually testing and collecting manual evidence when new assets are deployed.

Connecting to your Cloud Identity/ SSO Provider

Secfix now offers integrations to Google Workspaces and Office365!

Connecting Google Workspace and Office365 to Secfix saves companies time by automating and streamlining control monitoring and evidence collection across all personnel.

What can you do with these new integrations?

If you have Office365 or Google Workspaces as a customer, you can click "Connect" on our platform and the users will be loaded onto the platform.

Now, you can automatically see all employees who are in your Office365 or Google Workspaces organization.

The biggest benefits:

- Have all employees of your organization listed on the employee page

- Update your employee list automatically when new users join or leave the company

New Security Awareness Training, get your employees compliant!

Secfix now offers free security awareness training developed in partnership with Amazon. With this release, Secfix’s security awareness training is integrated directly within the Secfix client, so that your employees may view and complete the 15min video in 16 different languages without having to leave the Secfix onboarding flow.

After completing all training modules, your employees can save a copy of their certificate and upload it to the platform on their Me Page. 

Employees can also view their previous uploads if they have already uploaded other security certificates.

The Security Training is aligned with seven global compliance frameworks:

NIST SP 800-53r4, ISO 27001, K-ISMS, RSEFT, IRAP, OSPAR, MTCS.

The Security Training video covers various information security topics including:

Secure communication, data classification, phishing, physical security, social engineering, data privacy, third-party/application security, laptop standard, protect data, and acceptable use.

New and improve Secfix Agent for macOS, Windows and Linux Devices

The Secfix Agent is a lightweight program to help you monitor compliance of the employee devices in any common operating system (OS) such as macOS, Linux and Windows.

The Secfix Agent displays a list of employee computers that are monitored in your organization. Thanks to a recent update, now the Secfix Agent can be installed directly from the Me Page as a package, and auto-update is now enabled for macOS.

Besides the latest checks - Password Manager, Hard Drive Encrypted, Antivirus installed - it now also sends an additional query about Lock Screen enabled.
